- Dredgion
- An Aion end-game battleship. It is an instance-dungeon infested with Balaur that appears randomly.
- Players must not only defeat the Balaur, but also the opposing faction infiltrating the Dredgion.
Introduction to the Dredgion[]
Dredgion[]
When sieging or defending an Aion fortress in the Abyss, the Balaur will sometimes bring forth the Dredgion to drop massive amounts of troops to assist in the taking or defending of the fortress.
What the Balaur do is based solely on which faction holds the most influence in the region, as they're most likely to assist the underdog. Do not take this to heart, though, as the Balaur will easily turn on their temporary comrades if provoked.
The Dredgion has multiple areas open to attack. These have large amounts of HP and all will attack back. Nobody knows what happens when the Dredgion is defeated, as nobody has survived the attempt.
Dredgion Battleship[]
The Dredgion Battleship is a PvPvE instance. Inside the Battleship, players fight over control of vantage points throughout the instance while fighting both players and NPCs to maintain control of these locations.
The Dredgion can only be boarded at certain times during the day and requires players to queue up through specific NPCs depending on their faction.
Players are rewarded with Abyss Points and dropped loot from participating in the conflict.

Objective[]
Once players have entered the Dredgion, the goal is to eliminate both PCs and NPCs from the Dredgion, as well as take control of key sections and defeat the captain of the ship. Every action is rewards with points. The winning team is the one with the most points. Defeating the Boss at the front of the ship is the main objective of both parties.

Teams[]
Each team is comprised of 6 members. When choosing a quick or private entry, the Dredgion will automatically try to balance your group out with at least one of each class. The teams can be viewed in the Dredgion menu, located on the score and timer bar.
Control Points[]
Control points are nodes inside each room within the Dredgion. Players must kill its guardians and destroy it to claim right to the territory it resides in. This will raise your team's score. The further in the control point is, the more points you gain.
Control points must be killed with melee attacks. When struck, all Balaur in the area protecting the control point will come to its aid and defend it. The faction with the killing blow will obtain rights to the room.
You may also teleport to your furthest control point from your spawn location. At the spawn locations, players are standing on a glowing green seal. Once activated, it teleports them to the furthest control point captured.
Scoring and Time Limit[]
The Dredgion has a one-hour time limit once the two minute preparation stage has passed. Within this time limit, players must gain as many points as they can.
Players gain points for the following:
- Killing enemy NPCs
- Killing enemy PCs
- Capturing Control Points
Players lose points for the following
- Dieing to enemy NPCs
- Dieing to enemy PCs
Results[]
The conflict can end in one of three ways:
- The Captain is defeated
- The opposing team leaves the Dredgion
- The time limit expires
Once the conflict has ended, each player received Abyss points based on the amount of individual kills, team score, and the enemy's score.
